How to Play Aurex Nodefall

A strategic grid-based speculation game where Minesweeper meets stock trading with cascading multiplier mechanics.

Basics

• You start with 10,000 credits.
• Set your wager amount, then click cells to select them.
• Hit Reveal to process all wagers through 3 hidden layers.
• Each cell has a hidden multiplier that determines your payout.

Hidden Layers

• Layer 1 - Base Multiplier: 0.5x to 3x (determines raw payout)
• Layer 2 - Modifier: Adds, multiplies, or triggers special effects
• Layer 3 - Chain Connector: Links adjacent revealed cells for combo bonuses

Chain Combos

When multiple adjacent cells are revealed together, they form chains:

• 2 connected cells: 1.5x bonus on all chained cells
• 3 connected cells: 2x bonus
• 4+ connected cells: 3x bonus

Special Cells

Progressive Difficulty

• Rounds 1-3 (Normal): Standard mine density
• Rounds 4-6 (Hard): +5% more mines, higher multipliers to compensate
• Rounds 7-9 (Expert): +10% mines, fewer special cells
• Round 10+ (Master): Mines can hide under special cells!

Streak System

• Win consecutive rounds to build a streak.
• Each streak level adds +0.1x to all payouts (up to +1.0x at streak 10).
• Losing a round resets your streak.

Power-Up Shop

Between rounds, spend credits on power-ups:

• Scanner: Highlights one hidden mine on the grid.
• Shield: Reduces mine damage to 50% of wager.
• Multiplier: Boosts all payouts by +0.5x for the round.
• Undo Token: Refunds your worst loss after the round.
• X-Ray: Peek at one cell's type without revealing it.
• Insurance: Survive one mine hit per round and keep half your wager.
• Double Down: Your first revealed cell pays double.
• Lucky Charm: Boosts profit odds for your next 3 reveals.

• Same grid for everyone each day.
• Track your best daily score in the sidebar.
• Compare against your previous attempts!

Daily Themes

Each day of the week brings a unique modifier to daily challenges:

• Minefield Monday: +50% mines but 2x payout on safe cells.
• Treasure Tuesday: Guaranteed jackpot on each grid.
• Wildcard Wednesday: Cell values shift unpredictably.
• Turbo Thursday: All multipliers get +0.5x boost.
• Fortune Friday: Double chain bonuses.
• Shield Saturday: Start with a free Shield + Scanner.
• Supernova Sunday: Jackpot odds tripled.

Strategy Tips

• Select cells in clusters to maximize chain bonuses.
• Larger grids have more mines but also more specials and jackpots.
• Use the seed system to share interesting grids with others.
• Watch the odds panel to gauge risk before revealing.
• Build streaks for multiplier bonuses -- risk vs. reward!
• Use Ctrl+Z to undo your last cell selection before revealing.
